Research Grants Available
ISPA will award a research grant of $300.00 for research projects conducted by school psychologists or students in school psychology programs. The recipient will receive half of the grant in advance and the remaining half when their study is completed. Additional requirements for the grant include presenting the research findings at a future ISPA conference (this can be done via poster session) and writing a research summary article for the ISPA newsletter.
The ISPA research grant is awarded at the Fall conference. Deadline for applications is September 15th. Applicants should provide a cover page with identifying information, and a brief (approximately 2 page) abstract of their research proposal without identifying information. Included in the proposal should be a statement of the problem, research questions, description of subjects and methodology, description of measurement instruments and a proposed timeline of research activities.
